Fun spot by the river! I stayed at the hotel and grabbed breakfast here. I got the French toast and it was fantastic. My friend got “the farmer “ and love that too! Both were large portions. Each breakfast dish was about 15-20.
This place is beautiful inside. 10/10 for whoever designed the inside aesthetics. Great views of the river. I had a vanilla cappuccino and it was a 5/5. The French onion soup is also 5/5! Incredibly delicious! I was sad because they were out of the crab cakes Benedict. I had the chicken sandwich instead and it was good. Chicken was amazing but the fixings were a little lacking. 4/5. Would definitely go back! Service was attentive and helpful.
Celebrated our Anniversary here. Waitress was so kind. We sat out the patio. Excellent flavor to the food. Go early for brealfast and enjoy a view of the water and bridge outside. Their lattes are amazing too.
We visited on a quiet, snowy Sunday night. Missi's ended up being a perfect special occasion supper for us. The atmosphere was beautiful with holiday decor still up, the tables spaced out so that we didn't feel crowded. Noise level was low, with the TVs at the nearby bar silent. We could easily talk. We started off with the cheese curds appetizer. The portion was quite generous. We'd had curds many places, and these are among the best with a light, crisp coating and hot-through morsels of cheese. They came with a jalapeno ranch dip, but I requested regular ranch, which came right out. I had the Honey Crisp to drink. Fantastic drink, refreshing and warming for a cold night. Our main dishes were apparently some of the most popular at the restaurant. My husband had the short ribs, and absolutely loved them. I had the walleye with Minnesota rice pilaf and vegetables. Wow, it was good. Perfectly cooked fish--perfectly cooked everything. For dessert, I requested the bread pudding. They were out of the chocolate and cherry version listed on the menu but had a banana bread version instead. I went ahead and ordered that. While not my favorite kind of dessert, it was still delicious and made for a good end for the meal.
Stunning riverside restaurant with incredible food! The setting is absolutely beautiful, right on the river. I had both dinner and breakfast here, and everything was delicious.
Very clean, very friendly and very good food! We will be back! We celebrated Valentines Day early. Great scallops and wonderful walleye. Server was very nice & efficient
What a beautiful space and great food! They are just getting started, so service is a little slow as they get rolling but the staff were nice and we understood that they are all training and learning. The food was great! So nice to have another fresh option. Prices were fair for the quality of cocktails, fresh food and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back to enjoy it. Can't wait for the patio and other areas to open. What a great addition to Hastings downtown offerings!
Wow. Great place. Everything was amazing. Great view of the Mississippi River and also of the Hastings Bridge. I do want to say I'm grading the food experience for their breakfast, but believe me, I'll be coming back to try their dinner menu. Their breakfast menu is perfect. Not too many choices and not enough. It's Goldilocks (just right). Now I've had Chicken and Waffles in parts of the country where they pride themselves on just dish. I cannot say enough Great things about their Chicken and Waffles. First, I'm not a huge fan of waffles in general. I feel like waffles are just to soak up delicious, warm syrup. Not here. Nope. I'm not sure what they do differently, but their waffles are superb, decadent and fluffy. I still can't get over how delicious that was. No joke, my mouth is watering as I'm writing this. The chicken, albeit had a crispy and crunchy crust, it was so moist I was able to cut the chicken with just my fork. The chicken was piping hot, I was getting frustrated because I had to let it cool and I just wanted to eat. But the chicken with the super flavourful Waffle and spicy syrup... OH MY GOSH! I couldn't stop raving about it. You have to try their Chicken and Waffles. Our server was perfect. She was attentive but didn't hover. She was friendly but wasn't sharing her life story. Simply put, she was professional. If you're a "foodie" and enjoy trying new places out... here you go. I hope this helps. Cheers!
